This week, the director deputy of Junta de Beneficencia de Guayaquil Iván Baquerizo, received a formal visit from Manuel García-Rey Coll, Consul General of Chile in Guayaquil.

During his visit, the Consul got to know, in a virtual way, the social work carried out by the Guayaquilenian organization its different fields of action, which are: health, education, social care to the elderly, the Lottery branch and the Funeral services, the latter as the main elements of self-management that finance the social work that the Guayaquil entity carries out for the benefit of Ecuadorians.

The diplomat thanked the reception and indicated that despite closely following the activities of Junta de Beneficencia de Guayaquil and having visited one of its offices, this is the first time that he has met with its directors. "Apart from the institutional greatness is the greatness of what it does for the people," he said.

At the end of the event, Julio Guzmán Baquerizo, Head of International Relations of the entity, gave to the Consul books on the history and Social Responsibility Report of our organization.
