Nine years ago, forty – five year – old Jaime Piza rendered immobile in his legs from a motorcycle accident; six year old Andy Neira suffers from osteomyelitis and his mother Liliana Canuto, in spite of medical prognostications, hopes he will walk again. Jaime and Andy were part of those 34 persons with mobility problems from the la Libertad Canton in the Santa Elena Province who benefitted with delivery of 27 wheelchairs, 4 walking canes, 1 walking aide, 2 PET Cars to whom la Junta de Beneficencia delivered these goods in coordination with the Jesus Christ Church of latter Day Saints and the North American Worldwide Mobility Organization.

Those benefitted, previously evaluated and respectively documented were: La Propicia, las Pampas, las Palmeras, 28 de Mayo, Eugenio Espejo, 5 de Junio los Ficus, La Esperanza, Ernesto González, 11 de Diciembre and 6 de diciembre.

Delivery was performed through the La Libertad Unit for Social Action with president Rosita Andrade expressing gratitude to those Institutions, which made it possible to deliver the implements of mobility. “Volunteer work has no boundaries and I thank you for allowing us to join efforts to improve these people´s quality of life, “she said

The event took place in the Libertad Canton Municipal premises with the presence of beneficiaries and local, Junta de Beneficencia and Jesus Christ Church of latter Day Saint authorities
