Through a Municipal Transit Authority entreaty, La Junta de Beneficencia de Guayaquil delivered a wheelchair to Miguel Angel Robles, a Barcelona fan who lost a leg when the bus he was traveling on had an accident on km 55 of the Cuenca-Molleturo - El Empalme road in the Azuay province this past august.

Hector Ullauri, representing La Junta de Beneficiencia, pointed out that this delivery is possible thanks to the help of international entities such as the Jesus Christ Church of Latter Day Saints which trusts the institution´s work.” This mobility implement will improve your quality of life with a solid emotional support and we are sure you will come out ahead”, expressed Ullauri.

Delivery came through while presenting a campaign to stir a conscientous awareness campaign to prevent transit accidents which took place in Municipal Transit Authority installations in the presence of general Manager Andres Roche, Miguel Angel Robles family members and Hearts in the sky Foundation representative Sandra Delgado.
