With the aim of maintaining the quality of hospital services and strengthening patient care, the World Patient Safety Week was promoted by the Ministry of Public Health.

The Institute of Neurosciences and the Alfredo Paulson, Roberto Gilbert and Luis Vernaza Hospitals carried out various activities related to patient safety, including talks on user safety issues, addressed to all collaborators; talks on prevention and information and administrative procedures, related to the Department of Social Work, exhibitions, orange façade lighting as a sign of respect and gratitude to health personnel, among others.

From September 14 to 20, 2020, Patient Safety Week is commemorated throughout the country, in order to awaken greater awareness and participation of society in health issues.
