Monsignor Alfredo Espinoza, Archbishop of Quito, thanked Junta de Beneficencia de Guayaquil, for the donation and explained that it was the joint work made by ecclesiastical parishes and the archdiocesan Caritas that reached the people with disabilities.

Eduardo Romero, on behalf of JBG, pointed out that these solidarity actions are the product of local and international cooperation, as in this case Free Wheelchair Mission, which for years has trusted Junta de Beneficencia de Guayaquil’s work for the benefit of the community. " This year we have helped 829 Ecuadorian brothers who suffer from some type of disability" he added.
