Junta de Beneficencia de Guayaquil has signed institutional cooperation and hospital service provision agreements with major institutions in Ecuador, in order to expand its area of work and reach an even larger group of people. These agreements help support the health care provided to those who have no access to appropriate public health services. This is done by training medical staff, improving infrastructure and providing social care based on Christian principles.
One of our most important agreements is with the IESS (Ecuadorian Social Security Institute). This agreement allows our employees and IESS affiliates from other institutions to receive medical treatment at our four hospitals: Luis Vernaza, Enrique C. Sotomayor, Roberto Gilbert Elizalde, and Instituto de Neurociencias.
According to the Agreement, the JBG has to in provide high quality integral health services to outpatients that are affiliated, as well as within private clinics in their hospitals, which have the equipment and medical staff to offer first-rate medical services to all users.
