Pedro Upiales arrived in the company of his daughter from the Santo Domingo neighborhood to receive a Wheelchair which will be useful for mobility purposes, mainly for medical checkups, due to the prostate cancer he is suffering from. “God has blessed me with the will of those who make this donation possible. Please keep helping the poor”, he pointed out.
The donation occurred in the Ibarra Curia installations thanks to the International cooperation of such benefactors as Free Wheelchair Mission, the Jesus Crist Church of Latter Day Saints and Mobility Worldwide which consisted of 70 wheelchairs, 1 mechanically driven car, 19 walkers, 9 walking sticks and 8 crutches.
On the other hand, the Elder Jones Brothers, members of the Jesus Christ Church of Latter Days Saints, an institution which provides us with wheelchair donations and other implements for people with special capabilities, visited the Donations Warehouse and participated in a small mobility implements delivery ceremony.
