In coordination with local and international cooperators, the Foundations Fuerza Dorian, Manos Venezolanas and Santa María de Fiat of Olón Commune, as well as several individuals with different types of disabilities, were given medical supplies and technical aids by Junta de Beneficencia de Guayaquil.
Jéssica Camejo, representative of Fuerza Dorian Foundation, which helps children who suffer from some type of cancer, pointed out that this first approach with JBG is a very positive one since it will allow the foundation to help families who are going through difficult emotional and economic times.
Venezuelan Hands Foundation, received 4 wheelchairs, a pair of crutches and disposable diapers. One of the beneficiaries was Jordy Cevallos, who, through social networks, learned that JBG could help him with the wheelchair he needed. "Keep it up, this work you are doing is very good because there are people who need this type of help," he said.
Eduardo Romero, representing JBG, said that these donations are possible thanks to the trust of the institutions such as GPF Corporation, Direct Relief, Proledexport, Operfel and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He highlighted that 574 aids were delivered.
