On this occasion, the beneficiaries of a donation of medical equipment and supplies done by Junta de Beneficencia de Guayaquil, were Father Antonio Amador Salesian Foundation, the National Federation of the Blind of Ecuador and the San Carlos Hospital.
Individually, some people also were helped with diapers, crutches, walkers, and nebulizers such as Andrea Rodriguez, from Paján, in the province of Manabí, who received diapers and a nebulizer for her five-year-old daughter who has been suffering from encephalitis for two years.
Eduardo Romero, representative of Junta de Beneficencia de Guayaquil, pointed out that these donations are part of the continuous aid program that the institution carries out thanks to local and international cooperation. "We thank GPF Corporation, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Free Wheelchair Mission, Direct Relief, who are cooperators who trust in the work we do throughout the country for the benefit of those who need it”, he said.
