On the upcoming 15th of August and from 9am on, la Junta de Beneficencia de Guayaquil will extend a new forearm prosthesis delivery to disabled persons of scarce means who are missing one or two upper extremities.
Mechanical prosthesis, donated by the “Ellen Meadow Prosthetic Hand” Foundation, have turned out to be practical and of great help to people who have already received them, allowing them to perform activities which normally, due to limitations in their condition, they were unable to perform such as: brushing their teeth, combing their hair, tying their shoelaces, writing and other activities in daily life.

Or come forward to the Junta de Beneficencia de Guayaquil Foreign Relations department, located Beneficencia de Guayaquil foreign relations department, located in Velez 109 and Pedro Carbo streets on the 3rd floor, this 15th of August from 09h00 on.
The only requirement needed to receive the donation is that the beneficiaries have a stump measuring at least 12 cm in length to hold the prosthesis in place as well as print and fill out this application form.
