This past July1th , the Guayaquil Municipality pronounced Dr. H.C. Carlos Vergara Camacho, Santa Luisa de Marillac Educational Unit Inspector as a “Guayaquil Illustrious Citizen” extended by Jaime Nebot Saadi, a distinction which highlights activities of citizens renowned for social transcendence by virtue of merit, services and contribution to general welfare.
In the same ceremony, the Honourable Guayaquil Municipality delivered recognition to the Santa Luisa de Marillac Educational Unit for its 70th anniversary and academic excellency.
At the event Dr. H. C. Carlos Vergara Camacho´s distinguished trajectory was lauded for acting as an Ecuadorian in the service of his community through his selfless devotion to causes related to his fellow-man at la Junta de Beneficencia de Guayaquil and for his services in upbringing young people at the Santa Luisa de Marillac Educational Unit.
Both recognitions were delivered by Councillor Luzmila Nicolaide at the formal session.
