One hundred and twenty private and public institutions participated in this simulation among them la Junta de Beneficencia de Guayaquil with two of its departments, the Hospital Luis Vernaza and the Guayaquil Patrimonial Cemetery´s Administrative building.
At nine am, at the Hospital Luis Vernaza an alarm went off and administrative, medical, paramedic and support personnel were evacuated with the help of brigadier leaders who oriented personnel through evacuation routes to a point of encounter in 5 minutes time.
Insofar as the Patrimonial Cemetery´s Administrative building, 102 persons were evacuated between administrative personnel, clients, Serexsa personnel and contractors. Activities developed in perfect order in a three minute time lapse.
The very Illustrious Guayaquil Municipality, through the Risk Management Committee and those institutions which conform the Incidents Comando System, SCI, brought about the 7th Guayaquil Simulation as announced to the media by Domenica Tabacchi, Guayaquil Deputy Mayor.
During the simulation 297 scenarios were developed where over 67.000 persons were evacuated mainly from the center of Guayaquil.
