Present were the director of Junta de Beneficencia de Guayaquil Juan Xavier Cordovez, the vice- president of Ecuador Ms. María Alejandra Muñoz and other authorities of the city.
Immediately afterwards, the Constitutional President of the Republic, Lenín Moreno, joined the ceremony.
Juan Xavier Cordovez, highlighted the institutional relevance in the history of the city and its inhabitants, being one of the oldest and most emblematic institutions that has served the most in need. He also highlighted the fight against Covid, which, from our hospitals, has been was carried out.
