The meeting was held on Thursday, January 14 in the main building of Junta de Beneficencia de Guayaquil, where its director, Juan Xavier Cordovez, along with other executives received the vice - President of Ecuador, Ms. María Alejandra Muñoz. They discussed issues related to the inclusion of the personnel who provides care to Covid – 19 patients in the Luis Vernaza and Roberto Gilbert hospitals, in the 0 phase of vaccination; as well as about the staff of working at Corazón de Jesús Elderly Home.
The meeting also reviewed the commitments of the National Government in terms of auditing and payment of referrals for medical care provided. They talked as well about the reopening of the Santa Luis de Marillac Educational Unit. At the end of the meeting, the Vice - President walked along the Gallery of Philanthropists and Benefactors who promoted the social work of the Junta de Beneficencia de Guayaquil through their management and bequests.
