webIn support of the vaccination plan, Junta de Beneficencia de Guayaquil added efforts to fight Covid -19 by setting - up an Outpatient Consultation area at the Alfredo Paulson Hospital, available to the Ministry of Public Health to vaccinate. Since yesterday this hospital has become a vaccination center for phase 1 that will immunize the elderly who have registered on the website of the Ministry of Public Health.

For this purpose, a triage area was set- up with a space for vital signs taken, 8 cubicles for verification of the registration of people and vaccination as well as an observation area where doctors and nurses from Junta de Beneficencias de Guayaquil monitor for 30 minutes any reaction that people who have been vaccinated may present.

The logistics implemented and coordinated with staff of JBG and the MSP have been fundamental in the organization of this vaccination process so that the elderly receive dignified and quality care in a safe environment.

Phase one of the vaccination plan promoted by the ministry of public health plans to vaccinate 2 million people; 57% being elderly.
