El Ing. Juan Xavier Cordovez, director de la JBG, y el arzobispo de Guayaquil, monseñor Luis Cabrera, lideraron la firma del acuerdo que contempla que la Junta asuma la cobertura de los costos que genera mensualmente la atención integral residencial de jóvenes (varones) de 12 a 17 años con problemas de consumo de alcohol y drogas que se encuentran en la Fundación Juan Pablo II de la Arquidiócesis de Guayaquil.

En una sesión solemne llevada a cabo hoy jueves 19 de mayo, con la presencia de los Miembros que conforman la Institución, el Director, Juan Xavier Cordovez, posesionó a los tres nuevos miembros del Directorio de la Junta de Beneficencia, elegidos por la Junta General en sesión realizada el pasado 28 de abril de 2022: Isabel Noboa Pontón, Marcia Gilbert de Babra y Oscar Illingworth Guerrero.
