Junta de Beneficencia readjusts its solidarity rate for the Hisopado PCR tests to $ 40.00

Last December, solidarity fee for PCR tests for diagnose of Covid- 19 was $ 50,00.
Tuis April, the Minister of Public Health, regulated the cost at $ 45.08, but Junta de Beneficencia de Guayaquil has decided to do it for $ 40,00. These tests are being done at the following places:

Luis Vernaza Hospital, from Monday to Saturday 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Alfredo G. Paulson Hospital, from Monday to Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Convention Center, from Monday to Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Mall del Sur Shopping Center, from Monday to Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Piazza Villa Club - Parroquia La Aurora, Daule, from Monday to Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Esquel Foundation delivers oxygen therapy kits and medical supplies to care for patients with COVID

In order to reduce high oxygen demand for patients affected by Covid-19; the Esquel Foundation, with the support of the USAID (United States Agency for International Development), delivered 10 oxygen therapy kits, 10 pulse oximeters, 10 oxygen concentrators, 400 medical oxygen refills and medical supplies to the Luis Vernaza Hospital of Junta de Beneficencia de Guayaquil.

José De la Torre, representative of the Esquel Foundation, said this donation is part of the Oxygen to Save Lives Program, and it is for the triage station, area of 54 m2, an area with two rooms for the care for respiratory symptomatic patients and to patients affected by Covid- 19.

“Luis Vernaza Hospital is a hospital that has made and continues to make great efforts to fight the pandemic and to serve people with the lowest economic resources so that they can access first-line care. This situation motivated us to give a hand and to contribute to this great work carried out by this institution” said De la Torre.

Junta de Beneficencia broadens coverage for PCR swab testing

As per Ministry of Health’s statistics, in March 31, Daule had registered 1,422 Covid- 19 cases. In order to help the population in facing the pandemic, Junta de Beneficencia de Guayaquil, opened a new point for PCR tests in Piazza Villa Club, La Aurora, Daule, for $ 55,00 from Monday to Saturday from 07:00 to 1:00 p.m.

Since January, Junta de Beneficencia de Guayaquil has been offering tests at the following places:

Luis Vernaza and Alfredo G. Paulson Hospitals:
Monday to Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. $ 50,00
Antigen swab and Quantitative test on blood sample $ 30,00
Convention Center: Monday to Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. $ 55,00
South Shopping Cente: monday to Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. $ 50,00
Home tests: by appointment writing to 0939093246 $ 62,00
