Fifty Persons from the Oriental part of Ecuador received mobility implements

Luis Felipe Maldonado, 85 years-old, from the Dorado sector was one of the beneficiaries. His daughter Yolanda Maldonado came to take the chair away since her father is suffering from a vertebrae 3 and 4 fracture in the lumbar region of the spinal column for the past 40 years. “I am from Quito and I arrived in Puyo a year ago. I have knocked on many doors to secure a wheelchair and today I have obtained it”, she pointed out excitedly during the wheelchair delivery, as well as other implements of mobility that la Junta de Beneficencia de Guayaquil delivered in the Province of Pastaza in coordination with the Jesus Christ church of latter day Saints..

In the year 2017 la Junta de Beneficencia delivered 800 wheelchairs free of charge

 For la Junta de Beneficencia de Guayaquil it is satisfactory to close out the year having benefitted 800 persons whit a free-of-charge wheelchair donation to those with mobility and disability problems, between children and adults, all of scarce economic resources and from different parts of the country.

United States Consul visited The “Alejandro Mann” Hospital Complex

During a tour through the “Roberto Gilbert E” Children's Hospital and the “Alfredo G. Paulson” Women's Hospital, Diplomat Andrew Sheer showed amazement not just at the installations and infrastructure but also at the service and specialized attention extended to the country's mothers and children.

It is the first time he has visited the hospital complex extending his blessing to the humanitarian agreement kept for over 15 years with two Northamerican Medical Missions which arrive at the Pediatric Hospital to resolve together certain, highly complex children's pathologies.

The Consul was accompanied by Eng. Ernesto Noboa, Junta de Beneficencia Director, to the main Alejandro Mann Hospital complex authorities.
